Full Moon Eclipse August 28, 2007

Full Moon and LUNAR Eclipse

Pisces Moon and Virgo Sun

August 28, 2007

4:45 Pisces/Virgo

6:35 am EDT

3:35 am PDT

The eclipse taking place bright and early on Tuesday morning along the east coast of the United States will begin before the Sun rises. It starts a few hours before dawn. Turning your back to the rising Sun a few moments before dawn, you can watch the eclipsed full Moon sink and set below earth‘s edge. The moon will carry with her the shadow of our earth home across her face. As our red faced, eclipsed Moon disappears from view in the western sky, Mars, high in the sky, will slowly fade from our view too as the rising Sun brightens the sky. Mars is heading towards a union with the Midheaven of the eclipse chart. Mars in Gemini is exceptionally fueled up with volatile fire energy from his recent opposition to Jupiter and Vesta in the free flowing forest fire energy, uncontained spirit of Sagittarius. Mars is rapidly closing into form a volatile, mutable, versatile, rapidly changing, unstable t-square with Mercury in Virgo opposite to Uranus in Pisces. We can expect all manner of fated, unexpected, emotional and turbulent communications, explosions, collapses, shocks, and actions to take place under this and the upcoming new Moon eclipse on September 11th. It is going to be a very big eclipse period in all of our lives!

The eclipse are south node eclipses. As a south node Saros series, the eclipse will inevitably involve major endings prior to new beginnings. We aren’t that familiar with this Saros series as it only began in 1917. As Bernadette Brady says in her book, The Eagle and The Lark, this eclipse cycle is Saros, 9 New Cycle. It started on July 19, 1917 and ends August 17, 3161. The cycle “appears to be concerned with bringing to the surface long-term worries about loved ones, health or issues to do with paperwork or communication. This could manifest as a worrying piece of news about a loved one or responsibilities with paperwork coming home to roost. Any news will have a sense of destiny or fatedness about it.” Eclipses do tend to brighten our lives! As this eclipse has a forming mutable grand cross with Uranus, Mars, and Jupiter /Pluto’s midpoint involved with the changeable eclipse energy, the news will have a Uranian, or unexpected as well as a rather chaotic quality to it.

Eclipses that involve the South Node herald major turning points in our lives, particularly around the “lights” in our lives. The “lights” are what we look towards for illumination ~ the sun and moon in our sky as well as the suns and moons in each of our lives. Our first lights were our parents, Mom and Dad. Next, our world expanded and our lights evolved to become our teachers, aunts, uncles, grandparents and significant guides, friends or mentors who lit up our world.

Additionally, lights are the men and women that we as both citizens of earth and as regular people look to for leadership, guidance and support while traveling our respective paths. On south node eclipses, the lights in our life often flicker, to perhaps leave us. Or we change or they change in their roles in our lives. We are aware, much more aware during South Node eclipses than North Node eclipses, about the inevitability of time marching on, endings and that funny word called ‘fate’. We move up on the escalator of our life as our elders depart and step off the escalator. We experience the more permanent kinds or types of changes such as divorce, graduation, marriage, career shifts, birth, disease, household changes or death that take place in our world.

This particular eclipse will have more of the ending and changing energies than many other eclipses for at least five and a half reasons! First, Saturn is at the very last degrees of Leo, the sign of Royalty, Kings and Queens. While we are in the middle of the six weeks of eclipse energy, Saturn will enter Virgo the sign of servants on September 2, 2007. We can expect our “Kings” or “Queens” to leave us or to change their roles in our lives as Saturn exits Leo stage left and begins his journey through Virgo’s service oriented, hard working, and harvesting sign. Saturn won’t be back in Leo until September of 2034. That is a pretty long time! So long LEO!

Second, Saturn is joined to the fixed star, Regulus, as the eclipse takes place. Saturn on Regulus suggests our various world, country and personal leaders will experience a conjunction of Saturn to their vital life energy in our lives. They will be ending their roles as our personal kings and queens. Saturn to Regulus. We will be assuming our own authority. We have conquered Leo. We will rule our own lives. We will become our own kings and queens. Or we will seek out new kings and queens if our current leaders leave us for other roles.

Third, Saturn and Regulus are angular, right on the cusp, smack dead on the ascendant of the eclipse chart for the United States of America. This suggests major problems for our country. Our country’s fate affects each of us as we and our charts live here. If I was the astrologer to the leaders of this country, I’d be advising caution around risky activities with that configuration. Saturn joined to Regulus angular and rising as the Sun drops into the South Node says the end of the kingdom of the United State is here. Saturn rising over the horizon of Washington, DC, immediately before the Sun appears as that red faced, eclipsed Moon sets adds an additional “ending” quality to the eclipse energy. The Moon rules the public and people of a country. The moon is setting, red faced and eclipsed. Saturn’s job is to end things as he shows each of us the limits of our body, being, energy, and physical form.

Fourth, Saturn is about to enter Virgo. We enter the apprenticeship phase of the development cycle of human beings. We are moving out beyond the carefree, playful quality of Leo into the grown up world of work, school, structure and learnings run by Virgo‘s schedules, rules, regulations and clocks.

Back not so very long ago, the physical age corresponding to Virgo meant a child was now a young adult. An education to eighth grade was completely satisfactory in most cases.

As you reached the age represented and appropriate for Virgo, you grew up. Apprenticed to a master to learn a trade. Married to a mate. Worked on a family or neighbor’s farm as an aide to the adults. Labored in a factory for wages. Tended livestock. When in the human age of Virgo, one was able bodied enough to get out of the house, be productive and contribute to the family’s cupboard, finances, sustenance or survival.

We are soon to find Saturn in the sign of Virgo. Virgo says “This is why you are here. This is your future. These are your skills. This is your training for your work in this life time.” Saturn begins his climb to the outer world of visibility, laboring to rise above the descendant and into the house of partnership and equality. Saturn gets to the horizon of the earth by traveling through the house of training, work, health, apprenticeship, habits and service for the next two years. We learn to work at what we’ve discovered we love while Saturn was in Leo. Get ready!

When Saturn enters Virgo we are each now responsible for our actions. We have deadlines. We have to hand our homework in. We HAVE homework. We are apprenticed to a master to learn skills instead of staying playful and childlike with our parents in our family nest. We are grown up. We are more restricted by tasks, to-do and life chores. We have to help cook, clean, wash and do all sorts of stuff to help support the communal house. There are rules, regs, procedures and processes that need to be followed. We can feel that incipient Virgo energy lurking in the eclipse south nodes, hiding out in the Virgo Sun and Mercury ~ waiting for us. Virgo makes us clean up the play room and get back to work.

Fifth, there is a VERY difficult mutable grand cross forming in the sky between malefic planets ~ Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, the Jupiter/Pluto midpoint, and Mercury are dancing with the lights and the nodes. Grand crosses mean action. Not action we are “in charge” of. Action that is taken by forces which seemingly are beyond our control. During the current eclipse, there is a difficult mutable t-square ~ lets count it as five and a half.

We, adherents and students of Western Astrology like to think of our astrology as being chock full of free will. And it IS chock full of free will. At least it is chock full of free will to a certain extent. J We bring our consciousness, wisdom, natal charts, ephemeris, knowledge of planet cycles and individual hopes and dreams to bear upon our choices as the planets dance in the heavens and move through our charts. And, those various items give us the concept of and belief in free will.

However, we know there is fate! This is one of those fate times. Choices made now are profound and feel so very, very “fated”. We are at a cosmic crossroads. Time to choose. Turn to face your choice. Destiny calls. The Wheel of Time is turning. The Wheel of Fate spins. The Wheel of Fortune is ruled by the three goddesses of Fate or the Moirai. All are beloved daughters of Mother Night and stand in for the Moon in her waxing, full and waning phases. Clotho spun. Lacheis measured. Atropos, or ‘she who cannot be avoided’, cut.

The fates spun and wove the thread of a human life in the secret darkness of their cave. Corresponding to the phases of the moon and the transitions before us, we are each meeting Atropos over the next few weeks of the eclipse energy. It is time to cut. Atropos will cut. She cannot be avoided. No more dilly dallying. No more delay. Time to move on.

There is a deep and mysterious law at work within each of us, unknown and unseen. The law seems to precipitate changes to the established pattern of our lives. Now is one of those turning points. The choices we make now will be irreversible soon, if not immediately after we make them. Choose wisely. Behind the Wheel of Fate, stand the three Moirai sisters. They know there is an intelligent and orderly plan behind the apparent random changes in our life. If we listen to them we can hear why the changes are taking place. The changes spring from our very soul and our life’s karmic purpose. A new phase of our life begins. Atropos prepares to cut the thread of our life so a new chapter can begin. The Wheel of Time, Fate and Fortune spins.

Malefic planets, such as those found so active during this six week eclipse period, mark an ending or cutting phase of life cycles. Uranus separates. Saturn crystallizes, finalizes and finishes. Pluto transforms, evolves and destroys. Mars takes action or fights. And Jupiter, normally a pretty jolly kind of planet, is hanging out with pretty tough characters. Jupiter is going to add quite bit of Jovian excess to the story unfolding before us. Mercury is viewed as neutral. However, Mercury is SO influenced by who he’s hanging with! Remember how your mother said you were judged by your friends and the company you keep? Mercury is hanging out with the heavy duty fellows in the zodiac. Mercury is going to be giving us very important information. We need to listen.

So, let us see: 1) Saturn is at the very last degrees of Leo, finishing in the sign of Royalty, Kings and Queens; 2) Saturn is joined to the fixed star of Kings and Queens, Regulus, marking an ending (The King is dead! Long live the King!); 3) Saturn joined to Regulus is angular, right on the cusp, smack dead on the ascendant of the eclipse chart cast for the United States affecting all citizens of our nation; 4) Saturn is about to enter hardworking Virgo; and 5) there is a VERY difficult mutable grand cross forming in the sky between malefic planets ~ Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, the Jupiter/Pluto midpoint, and Mercury are dancing with the lights and the nodes while a volatile t-square is active on this full moon eclipse contributing a half of a reason. That is a lot of energy to contend with! Five and a half reasons too!

So what to do with this energy? Remember to breathe. Deep, slow, full abdomen breaths. Be still. Know that whatever happens, it is part and parcel of your fate. Part and parcel of the time in which you were born. Part and parcel of what your soul needs to take you through. Part and parcel of the thread of your life. You won’t be able to do much until the Wheel stops spinning. Then you will get to see where you are. But do remember to breathe. And to love. That love thing is all we actually own! That love thing and our souls.

Lynda Hill’s interpretation of the Sabian Image of Virgo 05 is:

A MAN BECOMING AWARE OF NATURE SPIRITS AND NORMALLY UNSEEN SPIRITUAL ENERGIES

Commentary: ‘A Man Becoming Aware of Nature Spirits and Normally Unseen Spiritual Energies’ shows the rational mind of someone being overshadowed by supernatural and intuitive images, thoughts and feelings. Equipped to see the invisible, this person has started to penetrate into the deeper and more mystical levels of the unconscious.

Oracle: There may be strong feelings of another level of awareness happening and these may be growing stronger by the moment. The imagination is showing a clearer path to some understanding, even though, along the way, there may be confusion. Look for insights and messages in the things that you see and hear around you. Try bringing these insights back into your everyday consciousness, as they can expand your feelings about yourself and life. Remembering a strong sense of who you are while allowing messages to come through from “the other side” can lead to a heightened feeling of aliveness and an increased ‘Awareness’ of the magic and mystery of life. Getting in touch with ‘Nature Spirits and Normally Unseen Spiritual Energies’ can be incredibly enriching and miracles can happen in your life. Indeed, there can be the revelation of being close to God. Your senses can really come alive on many levels, with things revealed that you might have only imagined before. By contrast, the ordinary, everyday world may seem boring, lifeless and shallow. You can have surprising perceptions of existence on another level-but will they be useful or just lead you astray? Remember to stay grounded in your experiences as it can bring you considerable joy. Losing touch with reality, however, can lead to losing the plot to the point where it is difficult to discern what is real and what is not. ‘Becoming More Aware’ of other levels of existence can be enriching in many ways.

Keywords: Creative fantasies. Attuned minds perceiving subtle phenomena in the environment. Fairy tales. Seeing things or imagining them. Fantasizing about people or experiences. Seeing entities. Mental institutions. Halloween. Fairies, nature spirits. Seeing the normally unseen. The

Caution: Confusion. Lack of true perspective. Time wasted in escapes from reality. Imagining things. Losing the plot. Dreaming to the point of insanity. Making up things in order to be noticed or to feel somehow special. Delusions. Dreaming of possibilities that disappear upon waking. Schizophrenia.

The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper. Eden Phillpotts

Today there are no fairy tales for us to believe in, and this is possibly a reason for the universal prevalence of mental crackup. Yes, if we were childish in the past, I wish we could be children once again. Anita Loos

Don’t ask questions of fairy tales. Jewish Proverb

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. Albert Einstein

There are nine orders of angels, to wit, angels, archangels, virtues, powers, principalities, dominations, thrones, cherubim, and seraphim. Pope Gregory

The Great Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away. Philip K. Dick

Every time a child says, “I don’t believe in fairies,” there is a fairy somewhere that falls down dead. James Matthew Barrie

Lynda Hill’s interpretation of the Sabian image for 5 Pisces Moon follows:

A CHURCH BAZAAR

Commentary: ‘A Church Bazaar’ is an image of people in a community coming together to have fun, have something to eat and drink, get a bargain, and possibly make some new friends. This ‘Bazaar’ could be an event that the community has long been anticipating, or it could be a more regular event. Either way, there are things being brought and sold, fun and gossip had and new relationships forged. For some, there is a considerable amount of work to be done. Money from the ‘Bazaar’ often goes to the ‘Church’ or to help people in need in the community.

Oracle: This Symbol shows the pooling talents and resources to help people or create uplifting experiences for others. It also represents old-fashioned values brought to the community through simple commerce and the warmth of sharing. This is primarily a time for group cooperation to benefit the people of the community. People can cooperate and be involved in activities that have a people-centered outcome rather than a purely economic one. In this situation, you may be unable to achieve your goals on your own, so a certain amount of trust must be bestowed on those around you. Altruistic and selfless attitudes should be employed. The community can be enriched in many ways from displays of togetherness, giving and sharing, and through charitable works. There can, however, be a tendency to use faith or communal goodwill to extract money or services from people. Be sure that the benefits go to the correct causes, not simply using others for one’s own gain. However, someone may need to learn to give up always doing or giving for others, in order to be able to receive. There are often small rewards here, but they can be bigger or better than you first realized or prove to be more important than they first appeared. For the ‘Bazaar’ to be successful, people need to gather together the bits and pieces for the sale, bring the jars of jam, organize the stalls and ensure that the community knows about it.

Keywords: Overcoming loneliness and alienation. Selling things. The issue of real worth. Putting in a lot of effort for small rewards. Small scale commercial bartering and interchange. The collection plate. Generosity and charitable community attitudes. Jars of jam and things handmade. Bric-a-brac. Bargains. Practical spirituality. Volunteers. People sharing the load. Charity work. Money raising. Garage or yard sales. Second hand clothes.

The Caution: Spiritual or social exclusivity. Giving things smaller worth than they deserve. Using people. Deception on the grounds of faith. Fussing about small details. Fighting over “position”. Issues of territory. Pushy people. Social boundaries that exclude some.

Sharing is sometimes more demanding than giving. Mary Bateson

One man gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. The Bible

He who bestows his goods upon the poor shall have as much again, and ten times more. John Bunyan

Some people give time, some money, some their skills and connections, some literally give their life’s blood. But everyone has something to give. Barbara Bush

If you have great wealth, give alms out of your abundance; if you have but little, distribute even some of that. But do not hesitate to give alms. Apocrypha

Charity has its own rewards. Anon

Never let your zeal outrun your charity. The former is but human, the latter is divine. Hosea Ballou

In necessary things, unity; in doubtful things, liberty; in all things, charity. Anne Baxter

I keep getting a recurring image of the closing scene in the movie, Camelot, before the big battle as King Arthur reflects on the journey he‘s taken to get where he is and talks to a young boy about his life. The lyrics to the song keep running through my head:

It's true! It's true! The crown has made it clear.
The climate must be perfect all the year.

A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot.
And there's a legal limit to the snow here
In Camelot.
The winter is forbidden till December
And exits March the second on the dot.
By order, summer lingers through September
In Camelot.
Camelot! Camelot!
I know it sounds a bit bizarre,
But in Camelot, Camelot
That's how conditions are.
The rain may never fall till after sundown.
By eight, the morning fog must disappear.
In short, there's simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-ever-aftering than here
In Camelot.

Camelot! Camelot!
I know it gives a person pause,
But in Camelot, Camelot
Those are the legal laws.
The snow may never slush upon the hillside.
By nine p.m. the moonlight must appear.
In short, there's simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-ever-aftering than here
In Camelot.

At the end of the movie, King Arthur says to the young page, Tom,

Each evening, from December to December,
Before you drift to sleep upon your cot,
Think back on all the tales that you remember
Of Camelot.
Ask ev'ry person if he's heard the story,
And tell it strong and clear if he has not,
That once there was a fleeting wisp of glory
Called Camelot.
Camelot! Camelot!
Now say it out with pride and joy!

Camelot! Camelot!

Yes, Camelot, my boy!
Where once it never rained till after sundown,
By eight a.m. the morning fog had flown...
Don't let it be forgot
That once there was a spot
For one brief shining moment that was known
As Camelot.

Please remember your journey of Saturn through Leo as time spent in your own personal Camelot. You‘ve learned about love. Onward we each go to the next chapter of our lives. The wheel spins.

Slowly, slowly, the earth and the wheel spin as that red faced, eclipsed Moon disappears from your view in the western sky. Send it all of your dreams, hopes and prayers with your new found and hard won knowledge of what you love, the source of your creativity and the heart of your passion. Saturn’s journey through Leo has helped to make your love, creativity and passion crystal clear to you. Now it is time to spread the knowledge you have learned each and every day for the rest of your life. Ask every person if they have heard the story. And tell it strong and clear if they have not! That once there was a fleeting wisp of glory. Now say it out with pride and joy! Don't let it be forgot that once there was a spot for one brief shining moment that was known as …

The eclipses are coming! The eclipses are coming!

Well actually, the first of two eclipses, the emotional one, arrives on Tuesday! It is going to be a doozy of an eclipse! But you already are feeling that eclipse energy aren’t you? Over the past week or so, everyone is rather cranky, crabby, and irritated. Stuff is ending all around you. Folks have been short-tempered and critical, maybe even nasty since last week. Yes, it IS that Mars in sibling rivalry, sharp tongued but funny Gemini ruled by Virgo Mercury ~ that incredibly bitchy remark that IS true BUT kind of hurts BUT IS indisputable (evidence exists to show it is true! Moreover, they CAN point the evidence out to you!) HOWEVER, you know, it is HOW and WHAT it is. You kind of like it like that. You like it the way it is! Don’t you? Or, IF you do NOT like it, why do you keep doing it?

Your job, during the eclipses, is to look the news or communication in the face and say, “Yep, that’s true. And you know what?” Then make sure to say back to them, “Xyz” ~or whatever it is you need to say back. Or at least THINK CLEARLY whatever it is you need or want to say back. DO BE CAUTIOUS about what you say as folks are ALL OVER the place emotionally. Moon in Pisces wants to suffer. Let her suffer. Moon in Pisces is supposed to suffer. Moon in Pisces LIKES to suffer when it is feeling sorry for itself or bad about the situation it finds itself in. I have a Moon in Pisces opposite a Sun in Virgo, so I live with this energy every day. Let the Pisces Moon go off and feel sorry for itself until it gets sick and tired of feeling sorry for itself. Expect lots of tears on this lunar eclipse as emotional situations are exploding (Uranus) or ending (south node) or expanding (Jupiter) or fighting (Mars) or transforming / ending (Pluto) or seeing things (the eclipse) all around us. Lots of changing and volatile emotions. Eventually, that Virgo sun will settle down and get back to work. But first the Pisces Moon needs her space! If you do not give her space, she is going to really kick up a bunch of 40-foot waves to swamp you. Let Pisces Moon emote or hide or feel sorry for herself and the endings going on around her.

I find it interesting that Saturn will shift out of Leo into Virgo between the two eclipses taking place ~ over the next two weeks. We are going to have a quantum shift in our structural, societal and constructive energies from “look at me, me, me!” to “service, routine and sacrifice” as Saturn shifts his zodiac position from fiery Leo vacation and play energy to harvest, back to school and off to work again Virgo energy.

Always when planets change signs, the sign after the one we have spent time in and experienced, seeks to correct the “cosmic excesses” of the sign we are leaving. Virgo cleans up the mess after the party and playtime of Leo. Time to put away your toys and get ready for dinner. Saturn changes signs on Sunday September 2nd. That means the week ahead will have an abundance of last gasp Leo moments before Saturn leaves Leo until September of 2034! Expect out of control LEOS as Saturn grabs a last round of party hearty before leaving Leo!

We have been working on changing our fixed stuff as Saturn has gone through Leo. Our fixed stuff likes to be fixed. It is familiar. It is stable. It is fixed! You know how it goes. My friend Barbara works as the “grown-up” leader in a group house for mentally ill residents who are reasonably stable. She has a new “un-housebroken” resident. He fails to use the toilet properly, spreading his body wastes all over the bathroom for others to clean up. He threw up on the stove and left it for the other house members to clean. Barbara refused to clean it up. In conversation, Barbara as the group leader, had with the residents about the situation, a resident said because they are “mentally ill”, they can retreat into that description to use it as an excuse for their behaviors.

Barbara commented, “It wasn’t mentally ill behavior. It was mean behavior! It was bad behavior!” And, then Barbara added, “I do it too. We all do it. We all retreat into “bad behavior” that is justified by our backgrounds, experiences or beliefs we have about ourselves. We use that to justify what we are doing.” Barbara, who is black, added, “I could certainly retreat into Well, we black folks were and are still discriminated against! I could RETREAT into that situation as an excuse for my behavior. I could use the fact of discrimination as justification or rationalization for any bad behavior I want to justify. But it doesn‘t mean it is not bad behavior. Bad behavior is bad behavior. Mean behavior is mean behavior!”

Our Leo area of life (and we all have a house or two with Leo in charge) can cause us to have a tendency to have bad behavior. We joke about it, call it “being a diva” or “its all about ME!” or any of the other negative characteristics our Leo part wants to attribute to our Leo feeling of being special and entitled. ENTITLEMENT is the key word here! We some how feel we are entitled to our “bad behavior”. I know the places where I do it! I justify my “bad behavior” by saying I am focusing on the “more important” (or perhaps more interesting and fun) stuff for ME. And when I get into that area I can and have and do neglect the other guy‘s needs, wants, requirements or desires. I’m the king or queen in that Leo ruled area! Let them eat cake! Or in my case, keep putting off burning the cd recordings and mailing them out!

Well, the eclipses and Saturn in the last degree of Leo will light up that “bad behavior” section of your chart, my chart and every one else’s chart like a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Kind of a last hurrah of Saturn asking you to take responsibility for that Leo area of your life where you feel entitled to behave badly. Take a GIANT step forward to assume responsibility for where you feel entitled to bad behavior. Make sure to look at your entitlement issues. Maybe it is time to change that area or behavior of yours? Saturn in Leo wants you to get clear on it ~ that entitlement issue of yours. Get clear on your entitlement area in addition to learning to love your Saturn. Examine the last little parts of Leo that want you to pay attention to your entitlement and desire nature as the eclipse calls on you! That is why everyone wants to and is having temper tantrums right now ~ our entitlement parts are getting kicked in butt by Saturn in Leo. It IS Saturn after all. Saturn is not going to get into your Leo house again until September of 2034. Saturn does not want you to forget what you have learned from him since July 2005! Take notes! Pay attention! Watch entitlement as a juicy, jumping push of energy under these eclipses! Entitlement is the area that Saturn is going push on like an ocean wave crashing to shore.

Monday, Mercury chats with Venus by parallel. Remember Venus is still going retrograde. Venus is in Leo. She is feeling mighty entitled. Or thwarted by her sense of entitlement being unmet. Venus is going to be a diva! Watch out for the entitlement stuff surfacing in your life.. Acknowledge it. Own it. Decide if you still want it making those entitled kinds of choices in your life or world. You can partner with change if you would like to. On the other hand, maybe you still want to be a bit entitled? Nothing wrong with that entitlement, mind you. Know that it irritates other people. In fact, they will probably be telling you about it! But hey, it IS your life! Let them eat cake!

Tuesday, Eclipse day! Read the full moon column on this site for more information on how to deal with the energy of the eclipse. Mercury aspects Uranus in a double dose of energy. SHOCKING news! EXPLOSIVE information! FATED communications! Forward we go! The eclipses have arrived! Jupiter activates Mars too! NO punching allowed! The sibling rivalry issues inherent in your being will be up and running strong ~ dancing around the room. And, if you don‘t have siblings, the compare yourself to others or the next door neighbors or some side by side issue will be up and running strong~ dancing around the room. It is a day when we are going to be in the mood to be entitled OR to feel sorry for ourselves. Alternatively, my favorite version ~ we will swing wildly back and forth between the two ~ entitled, martyr, entitled, martyr, entitled, martyr. Note the energy. Try to understand it on a conscious as well as an unconscious level. It is all part of the Saturn in Leo energy combining with the full moon critical eclipse energy as the whole cosmic mess of moving, throbbing, vibrating, crisscrossing pile of planets get Saturn ready to move into Virgo. Time to wrap up the last of the Saturn in Leo lessons.

Wednesday, today you can expect the other side of the polar opposite to surface. Astrology is all about duality. Gotta see both sides of the story or you never learn about the energy and how it works. Mercury has an aspect of brilliance to Chiron. Often when I sit across the astrology table from a client during a reading, I will be able to point out how the “problem” is actually part of their chart that is being acted up on by “others” to help them take it back and become conscious of it. The difficult transits help us own our charts.

If you give your sensitive parts to some one else AND they kick those sensitive parts or punch them or throw your delicate parts on the ground, you would say to yourself “Wow, they are mighty mean! Mighty bad! To me! And OUCH!” They would say to YOU, with a smile of course, “Well THAT is my mental illness or race or my usual bad or mean or habitual or father issues or mother complex or fear or whatever behavior THAT I feel COMPLETELY entitled to do!” So be like my friend Barbara ~ you do not have to clean up after it, them, or their bad behavior. They are responsible for their behavior. Do you understand how they need to be doing the bad stuff and how it gets you to be annoyed or bothered or whatever it gets you to be? And of course, vice versa. Agree to disagree. Moreover, make them clean up their own mess. You are entitled too!

Thursday, today, the Sun comes along to dip into that south node of letting go. If it goes, let it go. No hunting it down and killing it because it left you to paraphrase an old, worn t-shirt of mine. When the Sun falls into the South node, you are letting go of something big. You have figured it out. You have resolved “the issue” with whatever it is. If you “get it” today, just drop “it” and the associated consciousness into that old south node. Bye, bye! Let it go! Flush a few times. Flushing and swirling, off it goes into the cosmic toilet of old, bad behaviors or situations you are finished with. Think of it as a dead gold fish ~ down the cosmic toilet! Mercury has an aspect of physical, Virgo-type, habit adjusting energy to Neptune. Now, while conscious of the flushing energy of the Sun dipping into the south node, you might still be prone to a slip or two of sadness. Start practicing and focusing on what you‘d like to create. This is a TERRIFIC day to resolve to sin no more, quit drugs, demon fire water, overeating or cigarettes, release the stuff you don’t want (forever ~ or at least for this lifetime), give up or change your bad old behaviors of entitlement, pride and not letting yourself do what you love. Keep practicing your new behaviors until Neptune (mid-October) goes direct and it will be your new habit! Yeah Saturn in Virgo!

Friday, Jupiter has an aspect to Pallas that should help you see how your strategies, thoughts and approaches have created where you are now in your life. Take responsibility for it. Do you see how it happened? Mercury has an aspect pointing out how you nurtured those strategies, thoughts and approaches to get what you have. Nothing wrong with that. You nurtured it. It grew. Time for the harvest of Saturn in Virgo. Don’t like it? You can plant a new crop now. Like it? Time to pluck and start to work with the next phase of your life.

Saturn’s day, Sun in Virgo joins with retrograde Venus in Leo by declination. You have to love your life. You have to have passion for your being, body and soul. If you do not love your life, being, body or soul, why the heck are you doing what you are doing? Saturn in the last, last, last degrees of Leo until September 2034 looks across the sky and shouts out to you “Did you get it? Do you understand how you have to love your work, purpose, karma and journey on this planet? Love me! Love your good old Saturn!”

Sunday, Saturn enters Virgo. Bye, bye Saturn in Leo until September 2034. Hello Saturn in Virgo until October 2009! Hope you figured out what doing your Saturn is and have come to LOVE DOING IT. LOVE YOUR SATURN. Do your Saturn. Sun opposite to Pallas says your new patterns and strategies and the next part of your life have officially arrived. You aren’t in Kansas any more!?! You aren’t in OZ any more either!?! You are now in Saturn in VIRGO land. Did you ever think about what Dorothy did once she got back to Kansas and had this wonderful Saturn in Leo journey through Oz to build the rest of her life memories on? Partner with your vision! Time to start building it. Create your best life. Understand how your entire life, and all of the experiences, both good and bad, have worked VERY hard to get you to where you are today. Forward we go! One more eclipse and we are firmly launched into Saturn in Virgo by the new moon eclipse at 18 Virgo. Between now and September 11th, you are going to find out what your Saturn in Virgo lesson(s) are going to be about. Pay attention ~ the universe will be telling you what your next two years of life are going to be about!

Mundane: The eclipses are particularly profound on Vice President Cheney’s chart. (January 30, 1941, 7:30 pm Lincoln, NE). Cheney’s Virgo natal ascendant degree matches the degrees of the eclipse ascendant cast for Washington D.C. as well with the Sun in Virgo in his first house and the Moon in Pisces in his seventh house. The LUNAR eclipse (August 28th) will be particularly strong for Mr. Cheney. In addition, it echoes the Uranus station last June when he announced he was not part of the executive branch and as such would not respond to Congress. Both of the eclipses are a SOUTH node eclipse series, meaning the south node is involved in a dance with the Sun. The Sun dips into that dissolving, obsessive and karmic nodal energy. Astrologers with a few years of watching charts know that transits to the south node tend to end things, finish things up or have things moved along to their next phase of being. Eclipses are very, very powerful lunar and solar transits to the nodes.

If we look at Cheney’s relocated chart in Washington, D.C., the SOLAR eclipse, (Sept 11th) is on his relocated ascendant of 18 Virgo. Again, we find a second, powerful transiting eclipse on his relocated natal ascendant. Finally, in BOTH eclipses there are powerful mutable crosses involving Mars, Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus, three of the four malefics. But, when we find Jupiter involved with the “bad” guys in the solar system, we can expect Jupiter to behave badly too ~ or at least act as a cosmic accelerant, pouring volatile mutable fire energy into the mix of Mars, Pluto, the lights and Uranus. All the planets by being involved a mutable cross, are square to each other and pick up extra energy from the eclipse. This will bring even MORE extra energy to bear on the people, events and things.

I am among the folks who think Mr. Cheney is, in fact, the actual President of the United States. The bloodless coup, when the Supreme Court appointed Bush our President despite the uncounted election results, put a friendly, good old boy airhead in front of the corporate media cameras while behind the scenes Mr. Cheney was, and has been, in charge. The United States is about to lose their leadership, or have our leadership position in the world fall and be challenged. Therefore, whoever leaves office under the eclipses is our actual leader. (And yes, that would include Karl Rove!) I think we might be seeing Mr. Cheney leaving office in the next few weeks. I loved the recently surfacing you tube clip from 1994 with Cheney talking about why they didn’t go in and take out Saddam Hussein. A younger Cheney, but still our Vice, he describes exactly what is going on now in Iraq because we invaded! So he knew better. Mucho bad karma happens when you know better and do it any way! That law of magnification takes over…. http://youtube.com/watch?v=wdSMxwV33sI

Additionally, the stock market and financial markets will continue to be very volatile, with a “crashing” kind of energy. People ask me “how bad”, “how long” and “how low”. My answer to “how bad” is “comparable to 1929”. The 1929 crash and subsequent depression took 14 or so years to resolve but the first 2 to 3 years were the worst part is the answer to “how long.” If you are close to retirement, try to cash out what you can, especially stuff in mutual funds and stocks. Leave the bonds be, unless they are the ever-dwindling mortgage bonds. If you have a ways to go until you retire, plan on letting the market rebuild (it always does) after it drops and self corrects. During the time period between the two eclipses, Mars will set off the mutable cross and Saturn will enter Virgo. We can expect these to be the major triggers to the financial and market changes we will be experiencing. We will not know “how low” until Uranus gets back to 18 degrees ~ March 2008. However, I anticipate a sharp drop and shifting of the energy in the financial worlds around us. You are going to be fine! You know what you love now that Saturn has gone through Leo so you are going to be doing that while Saturn is in Virgo. No worries. You won’t need a lot of money to do what you love while Saturn travels through Virgo. You will be doing the work and the service to what you love.

We need to watch what is going on with China. (October 1, 1949, 3:15 pm, Peking, China). Her progressed Saturn is at 18 Virgo in the 7th house of partners opposite progressed moon and solar arc Jupiter in Pisces. All of them are receiving the energy of September eclipse. The August lunar eclipse is setting off China’s progressed Sun, Vertex, Uranus, Juno as transiting Saturn comes to square her Midheaven and IC. It is conceivable, with the rulers involved, that China could or will do something to further destabilize our financial markets. Unfortunately, I am not as familiar with China’s history to know how she has responded to similar previous transits and eclipses. Thus far, what we have been seeing since March when the eclipses and Uranus first started dancing over China’s sensitive points was the pet food poisoning, and more recently, the lead paint poison on children’s toys. The time to watch China is from now through next March. The houses of what is of value to us in the USA are involved (pets and children are of value to us) in the most recent events. Well, money is of value to us too! Poison to our money? We will have to see how it plays out. Wish I knew more about China’s history.

We do know that we are going to see the “power” in the world shift from us, the United States, to China. Pluto is in a balsamic approach to our natal Pluto in the second house. Most empires last about 250 years. We are 231 years old. Time for a change of who‘s the power in the world. Again, you are going to be fine! Get back to your history books: Egypt, Rome, Spain, Incas, Aztecs, Genghis Khan, Dutch, Ottoman, and England upon whom the sun never set. Now it is our turn to pass the baton of power to the next country.

Finally, the housing market crisis continues to unspool before us. Housing is going to trigger the rest of the financial falls ~ particularly in hedge funds and mortgage companies. If you are having financial issues meeting your mortgage payments, call 1-888-995-Hope for information on your options. It is a government agency that is dedicated to helping homeowners keep their houses in the face of the looming housing and foreclosure crisis. You do have choices and options, including renegotiating, so learn what your rights are sooner rather than later. You have rights! And, contact your congressional representatives about the matter. The weasel Republicans saw this debacle coming after they deregulated the banking industry, sold ARMs to the sub-prime markets and wrote that draconian bankruptcy law at the behest of the credit card companies. What is done can be undone! Think of Bush as our generation’s HOOVER and the next president up as our ROOSEVELT. Mutable Saturn in Virgo is a fabulous time to revise, revisit and change those operating systems and assumptions in your life. Don‘t be afraid. Change is good. Mutable signs LOVE to change. Just use the last dregs of Saturn in Leo to put a stake in the ground of your kingdom.

The eclipses are coming! The eclipses are coming!

We enter the build up period to the powerful mutable eclipses this week. While the full moon, or lunar eclipse, does not take place until next Tuesday and the solar or new moon eclipse happens on 9-11, we’ll start to feel their considerable energy build. Eclipses bring hidden things to the surface or to light for us to notice and take appropriate steps to deal with them. Eclipses, through history, have a bad reputation, admittedly deserved for the most part. Most humans want to ignore the stuff we do not want to look at (except for our Scorpio friends). Eclipses make the invisible or hidden stuff very visible, often in a highly emotional and tumultuous way. We have to look at the stuff we do not want to see when eclipses happen. We then decide we do not much like eclipses because they make us look!

Remember, as the eclipse energy builds over the next four weeks, that the situation has been building and bubbling behind the scenes for quite a while. It is becoming known now. The sun and the moon are eclipsed by each other in combination with earth, the energy of the eclipsed lights combines with the nodes to add an extra Oompfh to the energy we feel. You probably don’t or won’t have to “deal with it right now, right this second!” even though it might FEEL like you need to. Remember the MOON is involved. The moon in Pisces of sacrifice and Virgo of service while the Sun is in sensitive to criticism, have to fix it Virgo. Eclipses give a heightened sense of “I have to take care of this NOW!” to our beings and minds. As the situation has been going on for a while, can you HONESTLY actually take care of it NOW? It is often much bigger or larger situation than that. However, you do need to notice it, adjust to it and get clear on it as the eclipses light it up. Then take appropriate steps to work with the disclosing and disconcerting energy. Eclipses have a wonderful clarifying quality to them if we appreciate them for their purpose ~ to burst that carbuncle or festering boil or looming juicy red and white pimple that is growing some where in our life. Bring it to a head and excrete the pus from within it! Maybe we should call eclipses cosmic facials?

According to Bernadette Brady, in The Eagle and the Lark, , this eclipse cycle is Saros, 9 New Cycle and started on July 19, 1917 and ends August 17, 3161. As this eclipse has a mutable cross with Uranus, Mars, and Jupiter / Pluto’s midpoint involved with the changeable eclipse energy, the news will have a Uranian, or unexpected and rather chaotic quality to it.

In addition, remember, we will be pulling the story from the eclipses of March 2007, at 13 and 28 Pisces/Virgo mutable forward to the mid-June 2007 Uranus station at 18, the degree of the eclipse on September 11, forward and up into the upcoming eclipses. I often think of eclipses as having a Uranian quality ~ unexpected, shocking, unpredictable, or stunning. This time, the eclipses are even MORE Uranian as Uranus figures strongly into the cosmic picture formed in the sky by the lights, the eclipses and the karmic nodes! So Uranus, Sun, Moon and the eclipses are getting together and having fun with us humans and our desire for our world to be very clear and predictable! Going to be fun! Hang onto your hat!

Our week ahead features the Sun entering Virgo, which brings us back to fall’s starting back to our lives energy ~ school starts, work settles in as folks return from vacation and our lives of structure after the playful energy of Leo and vacationtime resume. Right before that, Sun joins with Saturn, bringing forward to our minds a kind of cosmic review of the lessons you have learned since Saturn entered Leo in July 2005. Sun joining with Saturn officially illuminates the lessons from Saturn through Leo. So take some time and write a summary of all the things you have learned about what you love since July 2005. You have a week or so of summer before the world calls you back to your regular life so take a few moments while lying on the beach to review things.

Mercury has a pile of aspects in the week ahead too so expect more illumination as our winged messenger travels through Virgo noticing things and gathering data. He is the lead personal planet these days ~ He is ahead of the Sun, Venus and Mars so he is tuned into stuff they have not run across yet. Listen and notice his messages to you as he‘s not always sure what he is seeing but he IS seeing something. Listen to him. Gather the data. Asses the clues.

Venus is still retrograde and has an opposition to Neptune making her a perhaps bit sad or dreamy or not too clear-eyed. If an old love returns (and they often do at times like this) during the Venus retrograde, MAKE NO FIRM decisions until Venus passes her last aspect to Saturn in Mid-October. Delay making firm decisions. Review the decisions. Revisit the decisions. Revise the decisions. Redo the budgets. Revise the budgets. Renegotiate the terms. But no new decisions. At least until Venus goes direct, Sept 8, Venus is working or perhaps even lost in a fog of feeling and moving in a reverse direction from her normal, desire based life. Venus still has yet another aspect to Neptune (September 21) once she goes direct as well as a pass to Pluto by trine and Saturn by conjunction. We all are in the mood to remember the “good old days” (which were or were not good ~ right now, we remember them as good). Time is moving on. Sentiment is high. Emotions fraught with memory and largess. Feelings confused and larger than life and full of fire, creativity and love. You know how you get when that happens! Cautiously proceed please.

Mars in Gemini is active with Jupiter, Chiron and Pallas. Mars is ruled by Mercury traveling through Virgo. While Mars is lagging behind the rest of the personal planets, he is going to be stuck with clean up duty as he moves through the zodiac. When something catches Mars’ attention ~ or he balks at the terms (Gemini) of the deal or feels the dual nature of the choices before him, pay attention to his counsel. No pushing Mars into something he is not willing or able to do down the road. Mercury in Virgo is going to write a tough contract that Mars will have to live up to the terms of. Venus retrograde in Leo says do the right thing from the personal integrity point of view but proceed with caution.

Monday, Sun and Mercury are talking to each other by declination. Listen to what you hear today. VERY IMPORTANT COMMUNICATIONS!!! Pay attention!

Tuesday, Sun joins with Saturn. The cosmic review about the last two years is taking place in your world and the illumination of what the purpose of Saturn in Leo was for from the perspective of your SUN, your soul’s purpose and the Leo ruled house in your chart settles into your being on a different level. I call this energy integrative as it kind of enters your soul and becomes part of you. Part of your understanding. Part of your being. Part and parcel of you now. It contributes to your understanding of why you were and are here on earth at this time. Some times it helps to back up and explain the story to yourself as if you were telling someone else who doesn‘t know anything about your life. The clarity of hearing how you express it to someone who knows nothing about you and your life is a good way to see and hear your story with fresh eyes. Yes, it IS complicated BUT IF you were going to sum it up in a quick 5-minute version, what would you say you learned or figured out? Alternatively, pitch it like a Hollywood movie ~ figure out the happy ending for your story as you go through it. What did you and your soul walk away knowing after Saturn‘s journey through Leo? That is the happy ending. And it is NOT “Night of the Living Dead” or “Psycho” either! You wanted to learn about this when you were a soul on a cloud. You’ve learned. Isn’t that cool how it works?

Wednesday, we process. Venus is aspecting Pallas and thinking with Mars. I expect illumination under these aspects. Do you see how the situation was kind of a home for you? We also will be feeling the build up of energy for the balance of the week and the upcoming full moon eclipse next week.

Thursday, is a super busy day! Mars and Mercury are active and making numerous connections as Venus gets a good look at and starts to revise her home and hearth. Sun enters Virgo, now ruled by Mercury in one of his favorite signs, to stretch, move and accomplish things. You might hear bad news, maybe a deal falls apart or something ends today. You find out it is not happening. That is okay as Mercury dips into the south node. Was not supposed to happen. But ~ what did it make you WANT? That is what you are supposed to go towards. Does it matter if they won’t do it? Can you still do it yourself? How does it tie back to your Saturn in Leo story?

Friday, another busy communication day as Mercury has numerous aspects. Not necessarily happy aspects but aspects of movement, gathering information and moving forward. Might be time to throw some stuff out or clear out a few assumptions you have had about how things are going. Leaving, departing and ending aspects.

Saturn’s day, more tough Mercury aspects as the eclipse energy builds. What you’ve found out over the past few days might be what your eclipse is going to be about. That means you get to deal with it for the next sox months or so too. Or the information may be about an adjustment to move you to make needed adjustments in the way you think about things going forward. Venus is opposite Neptune so watch for delusions in what you are thinking. You know how Neptune can cloud your thinking. You are not as powerful as you might like to believe. Your position is not as secure as you might like it to be. You are also not as weak as you might like to believe. You position isn’t as bad as you think it is. Sit in your own integrity. Hug your Saturn. Remember what you love. And make sure to double, maybe even triple, check all information coming your way for errors, problems or inherent “trust me” hidden energies.

Sunday, Mars trines Chiron. This has a quality of a trigger being pulled when it combines with the other aspects and the mutable eclipse arriving next week. By declination, the Sun pushes against Chiron as Uranus pushes against Pallas Athena. To my mind, it translates as shocking aspects or information that wounds things or perhaps you, even as the events or situations are completely logical and clear to the other person. Not pleasant perhaps, but it is time. It has been going on long enough. Saturn is going into Virgo seeking accountability. Leo is making his last passionate pass and appeal for integrity. Saturn has had it. Watch out for angry Saturn people ~ authorities, elders or folks who control your life or choices. They’ve had enough of your dilly-dallying around. To quote the movie “Network”, they are mad as hell and not going to take it any more. Believe them. They are mad as hell and not going to take it any more. Now we just have to see what they are going to do.

Mundane: The eclipses are coming! The eclipses are coming! The retrograde Venus Saturn conjunction last week combined with the last new moon in Leo with Saturn in the ebbing degrees of Leo resulted in Karl Rove’s resignation while other significant Leo trees left our forest and changed structures ~ Brooke Astor, Merv Griffin and my wonderful 16 year old Libran Sun, Aquarian Moon cat, Homer, all passed into new forms. We can expect quite a few more structural changes as Saturn leaves Leo for the next 28 years and the mutable eclipses arrive to stir up the cosmic pot. Get ready for a roller coaster!

Onto the increasingly turbulent Stock Market! Going to get bigger and bolder and more out of control. The New York Stock Exchange Chart, its progressions and solar arcs will be profoundly affected by upcoming eclipses. I use the Market chart for February 25, 1817, 10 am LMT, New York, NY.

Of particular interest to me is Solar Arc (SA) Uranus within a degree of natal Moon at 20 Gemini in the second house of money and value. Secondary Progressed (SP) moon at 13 Gemini and SP Mars at 8 Gemini are approaching that natal moon. SP Mars is right on Vesta in Gemini (home and hearth in dual, two sided, tricky con artist Gemini ~ARM ~ adjustable rate mortgages ~ “Just pay a low rate for 2 years and refinance when your payment balloons because OF COURSE your house and your paycheck are both going to go up, Up, UP in value.”) The housing mortgage crisis, particularly the sub-prime (dual) for folks with ARMs (dual) will be the blamed or cited as the trigger.

The SP Gemini moon moves a degree a month so we have at least 7 more months until the full depth of the profound changes undergoing our fiscal markets and economy come to fruition, right around the time transiting Uranus in Pisces gets back to 18 mutable at the beginning of March 2008 and kicks off that 20 Gemini Moon again.

There are numerous other indicators of trouble or roller coaster rides which in the financial markets mean trouble as it is an emotional kind of place ~ we humans aren‘t into change and particularly losses around our money or security! There tends to be a herd mentality ~ as in rampaging elephants ~ heading for the exits. We have transiting Jupiter in the 8th house opposite the Gemini planets, accelerating the speed and energy, as the karmic nodes coming to SA Saturn at 2 Virgo and transiting Saturn in Leo separates from his opposition to Natal Saturn at 27 Aquarius. Saturn will enter Virgo in September to wake us up and set off the SA Saturn to add sobriety and somberness to our lives.

The eclipses are at 4 and 18 of the Virgo/ Pisces mutable signs ~ aspecting important parts of the predictive and natal stock market charts. Eclipses act as accelerant, gasoline if you will. Eclipses pour their volatile energy over the planets in chart configurations like a bonfire of driftwood on the beach. We watch for the match ~ in this case Mars in Gemini approaches the pile. We have transiting Uranus in Pisces involved in the eclipse configurations suggesting a tsunami of emotions flowing out from the financial bonfire.

Get your money as liquid as you can. Rebalance your portfolio and take your stock winners off the table into cash. Get out of and do not purchase mortgage backed bonds until they separate the wheat from the chaff! Refinance if it is not too late as interest rates are going to go up rather significantly, making that ARM of yours a rather nasty deal.

When babies are born with their Sun in Virgo, they are born into a house where the finances are exceptionally tight. In my case, my mom stopped working as the main family breadwinner, a nurse, while my dad was in medical school. She became a stay at home mom while my dad was interning at St. Mary’s for virtually no money. We were poor! Mom and I ate at her parents while my dad ate at the hospital. Saturn will be in Virgo until the end of October 2009, or for the next 2 plus years. Fiscally conservative times ahead! Pluto will be in Capricorn, starting in January and does not leave Capricorn for good until 2024 ~ restructuring the Capricorn structures (mom earth, governments and corporations) in our lives.

Now, you have figured out what you love while Saturn went through Leo! You do not need a whole lot of money to do what you love. Just a dollop of dedication, commitment, habit, service, apprenticeship and practice ~ all very Virgo words. No money. It is not about money. It is about love. As Saturn moves into Virgo, it becomes about Service! Make sure to do what you love a little bit, each and every day. Serve what you love each and every day. It won’t matter if you have $2 in your pocket if you are happy and doing what you love. Don’t you just love astrology?

Weekly Weather August 13 2007

Weekly Weather August 13 2007

Many new beginnings this week as we have five conjunctions between various personal planets and Saturn! We have twelve Mercury aspects, not counting the ones the Moon makes to Mercury. Mercury finishes his journey in Leo to enter one of his favorite, list making, detail tracking, counting, paying attention and figuring out the pattern and what it means signs, Virgo. Mercury will begin to create a master list of tasks that he and Saturn plan on starting and accomplishing while they both journey through Virgo. Every thing we do starts with a beginning conjunction, an Idea (or twelve of them this week) and a to-do list. Even if that to-do list is in our head!

I know, it is summer. You want to lie on the beach and read that juicy page-turning book of yours. You have finished Saturn through Leo. You are done with it. It is time for a rest, recreation and serious, long, uninterrupted lounge chair sessions. So, go right ahead. Sip your water. Turn your page. Doze a bit. The Universe is busy, thinking, plotting and planning. It is talking to you. It is buzzing around inside your head. It is making plans while you sit there, basking and baking in the hot summer sun of August. You do not have to do much of anything. Just think a smidge when you look up at the ocean waves or turn over to make sure your tan is even. You will hear mighty interesting ideas in that head of yours this week. Notice them. You don‘t have to do anything else right now. Do notice the ideas Mercury is bringing your way. Maybe write a few of them down if you find a spare pencil and a piece of paper?

Mars is not bothering anyone or doing much of anything this week besides squaring the nodes in Gemini bringing up more ideas rather than definitive actions. The Sun is hot. Sun is pointing stuff out through his aspects as he joins with both Venus and Mercury to start new cycles. Pluto and Uranus both have aspects of profound brilliance to creation and partnership respectively. Yep. Profound brilliance.

Often in our busy, busy lives, we do not give ourselves time and space to lounge, rest or think. I always liked the phrase human doings when I am bustling about. We are human beings. So “BE” this week. BE with yourself. BE with your thoughts. BE with your ideas. Hang out with Mercury. Let those ideas all burble around in that brain of yours as you rest and recreate. Notice your dreams too. Pay attention to all forms of Mercury ~ including siblings, neighbors, cousins, books communications of any sorts.

Monday, Mercury has an aspect of adjustment to Uranus in Pisces. It is a Virgo form of adjustment, requiring a physical shift of your perspective or being. Gotta DO something to make the adjustment. Not a big adjustment but a shift of some sort. The shift between Mercury and Uranus is echoed by Sun opposite to Neptune. On those hot summer days near the beach, you often wake up to fog formed by differences in temperatures between land and water. Sun comes along and burns off that fog. Today the Sun passes Neptune so you will see clearly the structural changes in your life from the Saturn- Neptune opposition. Grief, sadness or depression will shift as the Sun passes Neptune. Venus retrograde joins with Saturn in Leo. She has not finished with her story in Leo for a bit more ~ she is reviewing her desires. Review your desires. What desire do you want to create ~ Saturn joining with Venus in the sign of Leo says stay tuned for further creative, lovely, delightful developments after she goes forward mid-September in Leo.

Tuesday, Mercury moves to stare Pluto in the face by declination. My mother used to say, “As long as I hear it from you first, I won’t be mad.” You might hear something today that makes you mad. So be it. Mercury is the only god who could descend to the underworld and hang out with Pluto unchanged. He recognized something most of us do not like to know, information changes your perspective. So take the information you hear today and let it change your perspective. Mercury also clears his opposition to Neptune today. Oh baby, you are not going to like that information! On some level, you have known about it. On some other level, you wanted to ignore it. Well, now you have to make a decision. Another Mercury kind of word. You do not have to make a decision right this second but I bet you are crystal clear about what you WANT to decide. Pluto and Neptune have a way of doing that when they hang out with Mercury.

Wednesday, Venus trines Pluto in fire. Aside from an opportunity to get a major sunburn today, that trine to Pluto is a backwards moving energy. Revisit and revise your deeper desires. They are pulsing in you. If they stay inside, they will burn you up. Let them out ~ gently please. Sun joins with Mercury as Mercury aspects Juno ~ what do you want to collaborate with? What is your new idea that you would like to move towards? Venus with Pluto supercharges the energy of it ~ so forward you go. Did you spill a bit of your drink on your book leaping up to write that idea down? Good! That is the kind of energy we like to see on a hot summer day.

Thursday, Pluto and Neptune make aspects to Ceres today as Mercury pushes off by declination from Neptune. One of the things we forget in our busy world and lives is that the things we find in our world are composed of thousands of actions and activities that have been nurtured by our environment and our energy. That which we send our attention and energy towards is created in our world. We spend time and energy on the things we love. So what do you love? How can you spend more time nurturing and creating it? If your life were to end tomorrow, would you change what you are doing? What would you do instead? Do it. Do just a bit of it today.

Friday, Mercury joins with retrograde Venus as Venus pushes off by declination from Uranus. Consider how you have collaborated with your life so far. You have a limited number of years on this planet and then, whoosh, off you go into the ethers or dust to dust or back in a cosmic line to reincarnate yet again and learn something new. When you arrived on earth the last time, your chart said what you were coming into form to learn about and experience. How are you doing? Do you get it? Do you understand what you are here for? Is it a bit clearer now that Saturn finishes his journey in the sign of what you love? Do you see how everything that has happened in your life has brought you to this moment of consciousness and time? The good, the bad and the ugly, the joys, the laughter, the tears, the hurts, and most especially all the love have combined to create you. Today’s aspects of Venus and Mercury and Pluto and the Sun and Saturn and Uranus and Juno rather create a giant, swirling energy form of “Wow ~ this is how it happened. This is why it happened. This is what is it for!” When I look at a chart before a reading, I always ponder what the chart says the person wanted to do or be or experience in this lifetime. What did you ask for when you were sitting up on that cloud getting ready to come into your cute little body? You had something in mind. You had been here before. You had looked around. You had noticed stuff you thought was cool or not so cool and asked for it, or for understanding or experiences or whatever you asked for. So how are you doing managing the planetary energy in that chart of yours? Have you embraced it and claimed your Saturn for your own? Are you getting the rhythm and hang of how the world works? Time to turn over or your chest will be red as a lobster from a pot.

Saturn’s day. So…. That is the trick of it eh? We come into form to do our charts. We live our chart. We love our chart. We hate our chart (at times). We experience the energy of our charts as a symbolic map of our lives. We can live our charts in higher or lower forms of the planet energies described in them. Nevertheless, live our charts we do. Mercury’s union with Saturn says, “Hmmmm, well if THAT is what is going to happen, I might as well make a list of all the possible ways that my chart can create and get busy doing, living and being the best expression of energy I can be!” So what are your dreams of your best life? How can you move toward it?

Sunday, Mercury enters Virgo. Sun trines Pluto ~ forward we go. Can you see it? Do you have the vision of what you want to create in your head? Time to transform and move toward your dreams. Make your to do list. Listen to your dreams. Hear your ideas. What does your Venus desire? Move towards your life and embrace it. Hug your toes and your fingers. Stretch. This, right now, is the only time you get to go around in a chart of yours. Therefore, you might as well love it and have the best time you can possibly have as the planets continue to dance in the sky and foretell your future.

New Moon August 12, 2007

New Moon August 12, 2007

19:51 Leo

7:02 pm EST

4:02 pm PST

Our new moon takes place in the middle of a line up of planets in the fixed, fire sign of Leo. Arrayed together and all connected with and to each other are Mercury, Moon, Sun, Saturn, and retrograde Venus. The Leo planets trine retrograde Pluto in Sagittarius, making a closing or integrative trine to the transformative power of the Lord of the underworld and evolution. When planets are in a closing trine, we see and experience their energy for how easy it is to create, harvest or generate productive and useful things with the considerable combinations of the energies involved.

The tension of the opposition is past. We’ve experienced the power of the opposition and the no, pick my side. We’ve seen the planets in a face off across from each other, pushing and pulling, dual in nature, shooting at each other like in the Wild West at high noon duel in the middle of town. They forced us, asked us, and described for us the differences between the two sides. We felt that they were so different from each other.

The closing trine is the two planets going off to have a beer and chat things over at the saloon after their shoot out of the opposition. They actually are friends, those planets. They need each other to create things ~ combinations of energies which help them create. Now the planets as buddies, the shoot out of the opposition was for you to see them as two separate actors. Think of them as friends now. The shoot out was to help you understand how they want to create. The ease and flow of the closing trine results in the planets working cooperatively together to create life, existence, crops or whatever it is they are creating in your life.

The Sun and Moon are opposite to Neptune, engaged in burning off the fog of the Saturn- Neptune opposition. Once the Sun arrives, that morning fog disappears. It’s been at least a year long fog ~ but boy is it burning off quickly under this new Moon and hot summer Sun. Neptune is opposite Venus, Mercury and Saturn too ~ conjuring up those dreamy summer days, stretched out in a hammock with a glass of lemonade and a book. There is an inconjunct of Mercury to Uranus asking us to adjust our thinking and understandings, adjust our beliefs about the things in our lives. What IS important to us?

We don‘t often think about combinations of energies any more. Back when we were more agriculturally based, we were much more in touch and aware of how things interact with each other to create life and things in our world. Now, we go to the store and buy a piece of chicken, ready made, seasoned and in cute little cutlets to cook for dinner on our gas barbeque. We didn‘t have an opportunity to watch the egg appear, gestate and hatch, feed the birds with grain we grew and stored in our barn, see the chick grow to adult hood, catch it, kill it, pluck it, cut it into pieces and season it. We bought it cut and seasoned from our grocery store. We skipped all those earlier steps!

And, we didn’t have to go cut down a tree and saw the trunk into logs to create wood in small enough pieces to barbeque the chicken after banking our previous day‘s fire to make sure we even HAD fire to cook on. We went to the store and bought a tank of gas which we light with a push of a button when we want fire in our portable fire making barbeque. We didn’t even talk about the foxes and coyotes who want to eat our chickens every night or the time it took for the chicken to grow up to be edible or the torrential storm that almost drowned the darned birds.

The planets in their eternal dance remind us of the ever present energy of cycles and all the steps needed to get to where we are now in our lives. While WE may not have grown and killed the chicken, someone else did, out of OUR sight perhaps, but the process took place. It is the only way to get a chicken to eat for dinner ~ we, or someone, has to follow the many steps to get where we are. It is the same thing with our lives.

While we may not be conscious of HOW we got to WHERE we are in our lives, we took all sorts of steps to get here. Closing trines give us the harvest, the results of what we’ve been working on and toward, consciously or unconsciously. It is a combination of things that create that chicken ~ mother and father chickens, food, water, space, time, and a person to go get the chicken and perform the necessary steps to get it ready for our dinner table. It is a combination of things that create where we are in our lives.

So, we find ourselves at the eve of the barbeque of the chicken. Time to harvest and cook the chicken ~ closing trine. Time to start to feed and raise a new chicken ~ new moon. Or do you want to raise a new chicken? Maybe you want a sheep or pig or goat? Or perhaps a cow? Perhaps you’ve decided to turn vegetarian and just eat veggies going forward? Do you want to give up chicken raising altogether and move to the big city and buy chickens cut up at the store? Or perhaps head off to manage a restaurant in Hawaii and tell people how the chickens were raised?

This is the last new moon in Leo while Saturn journeys through Leo. Time for you to make decisions. The new moon in Leo says to each of us, “You have finished your journey of Saturn through Leo. You are wiser now. You know how to create. You’ve learned to raise chickens (or whatever you’ve been working on since July 2005). You understand the nature of creativity. You understand what is needed in your life to create, nurture, love or be passionate about. Great! Now, what do you want to do NEXT as Saturn gets ready to journey through Virgo?”

Saturn in Virgo will be about perfecting our individual journey of creation. Raising it, harvesting it, apprenticing to it, editing it, proofing it, fussing at it, cleaning it up, practicing it, feeding it, and making a good solid, life long habit of it. Before we get to Saturn in Virgo, we have a few more questions to ask and answer of ourselves.

Venus in retrograde Leo is approaching her second conjunction with Saturn and closing trine to Pluto. Venus says to each of us it is all about love and our desires. If we have love and desire it, we will find ourselves much happier as we move through the process of our lives. What do you love and desire? When we see, find or create what we love and desire in our lives, we know we are home. So what do you love? How can you make it part and parcel of your daily life? How can you make what you love a habit and component of your being? As we all move into the working, perfecting, assessing, quantifying, evaluating and qualifying energy of Saturn in Virgo, remember Saturn in Leo. IF we remember these gorgeous, glorious summer days when Venus danced with Saturn and Pluto in the last degrees of Leo, we know what we love! It will make it SO much easier to create the lives we were meant to lead if we follow our loves and passions. (Hint ~ they are wrapped up in your Saturn).

The Sabian image for 20 Leo is AMERICAN INDIANS PERFORM A RITUAL TO THE SUN. Lynda Hill’s interpretation of the image is:

Commentary: ‘American Indians’ are pictured here ‘Performing a Ritual to the Sun’. Twice a year, each tribe performs a Sun Dance, a sacred ritual that is held over four days that honors grandfather sun and the four directions. The people respect and revere both their society and the natural environment. The warriors of the tribe endure trials of pain and endurance to prove their strength, stamina and ability to protect those in their care. They gather together with kindred spirits to pay homage to the natural elements that sustain them in their lives. They do this to get back to the natural elements; they respond with their intuitive feelings than logic. In our everyday modern lives there’s a tendency to forget to take time out to ‘Perform’ grounding ‘Rituals’.

Oracle: The ‘Sun’ in this ‘Ritual’ can relate to one’s sense of selfhood, identity and ego. A good, healthy sense of self and ego is wonderful and should be celebrated. There can be a feeling of belonging to a culture with shared visions, regardless of whether you actually come from it. However, it is possible that someone in this situation has been caught up in the glamour of ‘Ritual’ and has been ignoring the true purpose of it. Perhaps there is a need to draw the ego back into perspective, especially if it has become over-inflated. Traditional ‘Rituals’, or ceremonies, can inspire people to action. They often bring renewal and relief to people, and solutions to situations. Tools like affirmations and meditation are useful to clarify goals and ambitions. It is important, however, not to rely on ‘Rituals’ to magically produce what we want. Use these methods to enhance what you are already doing in order to contribute meaning to your life. Take a moment to remember your relationships with the earth and her people.

Keywords: Restoring spirit. Rituals and worship. The desire to return to nature. Shining through one’s life, not through social credentials. Sweat lodges. Drum-beating. Celebrating a unique heritage. Participation with nature’s cycles. Eclipses. Smudging. Reveling in the larger picture leading to belonging and oneness. Fire, passion, spontaneity, sacrifice. Restoring sacredness. American Indian traditions. Vision quests. Fasting. Courage. Conquering bad habits and attitudes. The truth of conviction. Prayer. Eagle feathers. Baptisms of fire.

The Caution: Egoistic responses to life situations leading to narrow responses. Relying on rituals to manifest magic. Losing sight of the meaning of ceremony. Holding onto tradition without intuiting new and modern truths. Living in the past. Cult worship. Losing identity in one’s own culture.

Weekly Weather August 6, 2007

Our long awaited Saturn Pluto trine arrives this week.Yeah! We are evolving! Time to move into our next life or phase or whatever we want to call it with all the lessons of Saturn in Leo (and Aries, Taurus, Gemini and Cancer) firmly under our belt and tucked into our psyche. Expect concluding chapters ~ or robust ripening energies around the story that began in 1982 when Saturn joined with Pluto to start a 38 year journey about relationships to ourselves and others. Back then, we were asked to look at our powers, relationships, structures and deepest longings around who we were and what we hoped to create in our lives. Now, after all these years, we’ve figured it out and are about to harvest the results of our journey as the closing trine marks the energy of Saturn and Pluto moving towards fulfillment of their promise.

The week also features Jupiter stationing to go direct at 9:55 Sagittarius. It stations direct mere hours after the Saturn Pluto trine perfects meaning the power of Jupiter STOPPED is amplified in our lives and our world as he is stone still in the sky. It also means that Jupiter is stopped dead for the Saturn Pluto trine, amplifying the trines’ energy.

Mercury, finally out of emotional Cancer, is happy and chatty in Leo, making a number of aspects. Expect to find your voice. Or expect for others to find THEIR voices. Mercury in Leo can be a bit self absorbed and egotistical which is FINE for right now! We all want what we want and we all are asking for what we want. We need to ask for it. We have to voice what we’ve learned and say, "You know what, I understand what YOU want but what I WANT is this!" So ask away! I want you to be as egotistical and self absorbed as you can possibly be ~ the time for requests is now. Mercury in Leo is harnessing the power of the Sun in Leo to get it for you. You see what you want so ASK for it! Or if you don’t see what you want, ASK anyway ~ maybe it is hidden right behind the counter or was just returned by Mercury’s recent journey through retrograde.

Now, as Venus is going retrograde in Virgo and moves back into Leo retrograde on August 8, expect HER to be a bit more regal and demanding about what Venus wants too. Venus in Virgo makes do with what she has or can make stuff virtually out of thin air or whatever ingredients she finds in the kitchen. Venus in Leo says, I want better materials! I want glitter! I want gold! I want luxury! So ASK for it! Go back (retrograde) and ASK for what you desire!

Mars is moving into Gemini on August 7, the day before Venus goes back into Leo. Mars moving out of Taurus into Gemini says ~ "whoa! I don’t have to stick with what I thought I had to stick with (fixed earth)! The world is full of choice (Gemini’s duality or two or MORE sides to every story instead of only one, mine, my version Taurus), ideas abound and are flying around (air instead of earth), things can change (mutable instead of fixed), stability is a dream (cadent instead of succeedent) and a bit of an illusion as I get ready for my next evolution!"

Finally, we have a new moon in Leo on Sunday. It will be our LAST lunation in Leo when Saturn is in Leo. It sets us and our Saturn’s up for the final EMOTIONALY push out into Virgo. Read the New Moon column on this site for more information about how to work with the new moon energy. Right after the lunation, we move into the Virgo/Pisces eclipse energy ~ the eclipses are coming, the eclipses are coming! They will herald the purpose of Saturn’s journey through Virgo ~ and tie in the story from last March and mid-June to help us deal with the changes in our security structures (Uranus in the Cancer decant).

So, that means there is a lot going on this week in the heavens. Lots above us, lots on our earth here below. Mostly, we will notice the Saturn Pluto trine and the Jupiter station direct. But once they take place, it will feel like things can and are moving again. There will be more options. Ask. Ask. Ask. Ask for what you want. You may not get it but you will get some kind of compromise or change or something. You will get something! So Ask. And Move towards it. Aren’t you ready for your next adventure?

Monday, Big day. Big culmination. Big shift. Big, big, big! Saturn and Pluto are trine. Jupiter is stationing direct. The world is spinning. Forward we go into our futures. Our futures are based on the choices we’ve made in the past. Don’t like your life? Change your choices. Like your life? Continue on your path, making assertive, clear, open, loyal, honorable, sunny, aggressive and positive choices about what you want! Ask! Neptune’s trine to Juno asks us to understand how we partner with things. How we invite them into our lives. Do you see how you ask for the things, beliefs, choices, ideas or fears you have? Do you still WANT the things, beliefs, choices, ideas or fears you have partnered with? Or has your vision of your life changed? What needs to change to support that new vision? The moon has oodles of aspects while in late Taurus to the Saturn and Neptune energies we’ve been dealing with during our opposition. Mars is at the final degrees of Taurus just aching to move out into the world with a burst of energy to knock down any fences or barricades holding him back. So give yourself permission. It won’t take much. Just a brief, teeny tiny push as the energy is SO ready to move with you toward what you want!

Tuesday, Mars has an aspect of brilliance to Uranus. I remember once getting to an understanding in therapy and saying "Is that IT? That is ALL it is? Wow!" It is THAT kind of day. It IS simple. We do SO like to get in our own way. As Mars enters Gemini and Venus squares Mars between the zero degrees of Virgo/Gemini~ you will spot the duality clearly ~ especially as Venus moves back into Leo. Wow. That is IT? The light dawns. That "ah-ha" moment occurs. A cosmic click clicks. Yep, it IS THAT simple. Funny, eh? All the time, money, worry, effort, angst and agony spent on it and it is THAT easy? Go to Staples and find yourself one of those "That was Easy" buttons. Hit it a few times to remind yourself and your soul. "It IS easy". Once you understand what is going on. Ask for it will you? Moon in Gemini amplifies the energy of seeing both sides of the story. Ask for the side you want!

Wednesday, well easy DOES has a cost. It means we have to change. Venus enters Leo today, retrograde. She often says, "But I don’t want to change. I want THEM to change!" How often have we said we want THEM to change? Nope. They are NOT going to change. They are who they are. You have to change YOUR approach to get the change you want in your life. They are NOT going to change. You, now you, yes, you, are the one in charge of the changes in your life. Only you. We often get trapped in other people’s versions of how they would like us to live our lives. How they would like us to be. How we think we might like to be. The only way that happens is if something changes. Make the change be you. Explore the duality in your mind at least. You don’t have to change today but you do need to think about it. Moon in Gemini today, has so many aspects to move you forward. Sit on a bench to watch the sunset. Notice a better (from YOUR perspective) bench a bit further out, move and go sit on THAT bench. Aren’t you happier? It is that easy.

Thursday, Mercury trines Jupiter moving forward as Mercury joins with Mars in Gemini by declination. Think diet (or any lifestyle change you want to choose) as most of us get the concept of diet. You got fat because you ate more than you burned off while living every day. Your body, not knowing what else to do with the excess, stored it on your body. You can be less fat if you eat less calories than you currently eat, exercise more, or apply a combination of both to have a decrease in calories. YOU HAVE TO CHANGE SOMETHING. Once you change, your body, ever helpful energy storing being that it is, goes and digs out some of that stored fat and uses it up to help you live. You lose a pound or two. We get the concept of change with weight (or any lifestyle change). The same concept applies to the situation in your life. You have to change. When you change, things change. Yes it is that easy. The energy system is neutral ~ for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Moon in Cancer LIKES her habits. She LIKES her routines ~ they make her secure, safe and happy, even if she IS fat! What does she want more ~ change or status quo? No right or wrong answer here ~ only an answer that works for you.

Friday. Mercury is in a fighting mood with Pluto and Chiron. I know. You don’t want to change. You want it to magically happen. Doesn’t work that way on Planet Earth. You have to change to get things to change. Only way to do it. Sun has an adjusting energy to Uranus suggesting if you were to make a MINOR change, it might be easier to make the major changes. Something incremental ~ something that is maybe fun for you? Add a bit of fun for you, you’ll feel better, you’ll be more in the mood to make the other changes? One little change. That is all it takes. One little change. Moon in Cancer is CRaNKY! Fortunately, she is void all day long. So do your behavior change again. One day at a time. Tiny incremental changes. One more day. Do it again.

Saturn’s day, Juno says you have to partner with the change for more than one day. Do it again today. Moon in Leo’s trine to Mars says, "Well all right, I will do it one more day!" One more day. Do it again. Do the change again.

Sunday, the new moon wakes up Ceres and Neptune by aspect, Mercury has an aspect of brilliance with Mars. Yes it is that easy. Consistent little changes, over time, change things. Look at the Grand Canyon! Mercury has an adjusting aspect to Pallas ~ Yes, that DOES mean you have to change your strategy. You’ll have to approach the matter a bit more strategically than you have in the past. It is okay. You are up for it. Just focus on what you want to change and change a teeny tiny part of your life today, tomorrow, Tuesday. As Saturn goes into Virgo, we learn that process of slow, steady, habitual changes over time allow us to perfect the situations we create and find in our lives. Forward we go!

Mundane: Back to 1982 for the opening conjunction of Saturn to Pluto ~ Ronnie Reagan, IraN Contra and trading arms for money to support an illegal war. We have the same cast of characters in power now who were  in power back then. Of course, they are older now. Not necessarily wiser but perhaps a bit more confident in their exercise and (AB)use of power. Now they are overtly SELLING arms to the nations surround IraQ, not IraN, to "stabilize" the area and running an illegal war right under our noses. Back then, they walked free ~ skipped free. Heck, they all survived and returned to rule again. No punishment. Pardons all around. OOPS, we didn’t mean to do THAT! Or at least we didn’t mean to get caught doing THAT! Now, they just don’t care who knows or what we think. They’ve got the power baby!

And talk about control issues ~ I thought I was bad with Pluto in my 7th house! Old Dick has his pacemaker replaced, via surgery INTO his chest, and stays AWAKE for it. The good part is everyone dies one of these days, even Dick, and even if he sleeps with the lights on. (talk about being afraid of the dark!). But we DO need to figure out how to take back our country before these folks destroy it!

As I am on vacation this week, I’m not going to go into all the politics of the Saturn trine Pluto chart. You are going to have to wait at least a week ~ or more (Ann in Florida remind me if I forget!) for a write up on it but I do promise one once I get back home to my computer.

Suffice to say, the chart is rocking for Washington, D.C. The Arabic Parts include Mars on the Parts of Passion and Death, Jupiter on the Part of Increase and opposite the Part of Understanding. Saturn on the Part of Fatality. Uranus on the Part of Catastrophe. Neptune on the Part of Treachery. Pluto on the Part of Organization. I’ve been an astrologer for 12 years and have never seen this many difficult Parts on difficult planets in any mundane chart.

Arabic Parts are sensitive points which can be calculated in any chart. One uses them to forecast without having to "do a lot of work" ~ We know transiting planets coming to them bring the event type promised by the Part involved. In this case, the Parts are AMPLIFIED by having rather difficult or strong planets joined to them. As the Parts involved are quite nasty ~ death, fatality, catastrophe, treachery and Pluto on the part of Organization (i.e. the Mafia like cabal that is currently running the USA) we can expect the next few years (until Saturn forms his closing square Pluto) to be interesting, at the very least, politically. More later, (remind me Ann in Florida), when I get home.

Saturn Neptune once again with dissolving structures as the bridge over Neptune’s river in Minnesota collapsed. It appears the bridge had shifted FIVE FEET so they are going to start looking at that shift! FIVE FEET is a heck of a lot of movement for a bridge! And, the hot water pipe under the bathroom sink burst in the 7th floor studio apartment’s bathroom causing 4 medicine cabinets to fall out of the walls in the apartments below 7 (Neptune rules drugs) and making my living room wall, over my Neptune Piano, buckle and melt. So, I get to move all my furniture, get my wall and ceiling rebuilt and paint. Gotta love that Saturn Neptune! Thank heavens it is almost over!
