Anyway Holiday Mash Up

The Gorman's Grinch pup tried with all her might to steal our holiday fun...but alas, we prevailed!

The crowd spanned the ages - new edition Dali chillin' with proud parents Justin and Rachel - the kid is a born rocker!

Part of the Redcats (rahrrrrrr!) crew with photographer Claudio Marinesco.

The Gorman brothers, two personalities - one vision...

What can you buy at a Bonamarte? Alex and stylist/party paparazzi Jazz.

Now the party was supposed to end around 9:30, here you can plainly see the owner of Shorty's 32 looking in dismay at the crowd around 11PM.  Thanks to all for coming out and making this yet another Anyway... party to remember (or not).

Anyway Cafe Party

We love you all for hanging at the Anyway Cafe Holiday soirée! The advice for the night? Stop drinking when you feel your third Cosmo splash down your shirt. A fifth Baltika #4 beer is a bad idea. Good relationships start with a second bathroom.

Posted here are all the photos that wouldn't embarrass anyone. (Embarrassing photos are available by appointment only - until we post the video on You Tube.)

Andrea Buso, Alex and Andrea's better half Sonya.

Andy Spreitzer and Raquel Vidal strike a million-watt pose.

Holiday lights make great trails, man.  Hallie Burton, Marcus Hay and Sarah Newell are seen above getting festive with their electric cocktails.

Anyway New Year's resolutions (subject to change at a moment's notice):

1. Cut drinking down to 5 days per week.

2. Throw more parties.

3. Get real jobs.

Tommy's Mexican in San Fran

tommy06.jpg

Anyway got around San Fran with Andy Spreitzer on a recent trip to the west coast to do what we do. Andy said, "Can we get some really good cheap Mexican?", and lo, one google text later, it was so.

Tommy's Mexican in San Fran

Located out-a-ways in a quieter part of the city, Tommy's has been serving Yucatan-style Mexican yummy since 1965. Tommy himself, dressed in his finest fiesta-ware inspired attire, can be seen hovering over the kitchen staff. We ordered snapper, shrimp and burritos full of fresh ingredients heaped and then heaped again on each hot plate. The place is dark and quirky-in-a-good-way. Food hardly visible to you but your nose will manage.

Tommy's Mexican Restaurant in San Fran

The hit of the meal was their famous Blue Agave Tequila Margaritas - the freshest - you trip over cases of limes in the doorway while climbing to your table. Tommy's is the go-to place for tequila, serving the largest selection of 100% Blue Agave Tequila in the United States. Tequila glitterati can be seen tasting and composing love songs to the drinks there, but we are still iffy on the worm.
