This gorget also has a floating collar that is completely suspended with six leather straps to offer the most protection and mobility.   In addition, it offers a  leather upper option.  This is a strip of leather riveted to the floating metal collar to add about one inch of  coverage above the collar.  It is recommended for people with long necks.
